Brent Brodeski Named 2010 Distinguished Finance Alumnus by Northern Illinois University

Rockford, Ill. (May 14, 2010) – Brent Brodeski, Managing Director and Financial Advisor with Savant Capital Management, was named the 2010 Distinguished Finance Alumnus from the College of Business at Northern Illinois University. Brodeski was recognized at the 20th Annual College of Business Luncheon held on Friday, April 30, 2010. Over 250 alumni and college faculty attended to network and celebrate with the individuals receiving the Distinguished Alumni Awards.

Brodeski is a 1988 Finance graduate from NIU, also receiving his MBA from NIU in 1991. He has more than 19 years of experience in the financial services industry and has previously taught investment and finance courses at Rock Valley College, Rockford College, and Northern Illinois University.

Brodeski was formerly the president of the Illinois CPA Society and a board member of the Northern Illinois Estate Planning Council. He is an officer of Stateline Angels, an angel investment group. He was a long-term participant in The Strategic Coach™ and Vistage (previously known as TEC), is currently a member of Young President’s Organization (YPO) and serves on boards of several community organizations.
