Savant Celebrates National 401(k) Awareness Week

Offers Financial Fitness Workshop for Community Members

Rockford, IL (October 2, 2013) - Savant Capital Management, an award-winning fee-only wealth management firm in Rockford, is celebrating National 401(k) Awareness Week October 13 - 19. The week is dedicated to teaching companies and individuals about the importance of 401(k) plans and saving for the future. This is Savant's third year celebrating National 401(k) Awareness Week.

During National 401(k) Awareness Week, Savant encourages the public to:

"This is one of my favorite weeks in the year, as it allows Savant to engage the public and stress the importance of planning for the future," said Scott Laue, Financial Advisor at Savant. "Our goal is to help people realize that retirement planning is easy. Many people are not familiar with their plan and this week is the perfect opportunity to ask questions, learn about their plan and start saving."

Savant will conclude National 401(k) Awareness Week with its second annual Financial Fitness Workshop on Saturday, October, 19. The workshop will feature a variety of breakout sessions and speakers from Savant, Entré Computer Solutions, Williams-Manny, Agnew Law Office and author Kelly Epperson.

Breakout sessions include:
