Local Wealth Management Firm is one of three featured

September 4, 2014

Rockford, IL (August 27, 2014) – Savant Capital Management, a nationally recognized fee-only wealth management firm, was featured in an article in Barron’s, the nation’s leading financial magazine, as one of the U.S.’s top teams for financial-advisory organizations. Savant was one of three firms on Barron’s list of top 100 independent financial advisors to be profiled in the article.

In the article, Savant was recognized as a firm that provides world-class support to its clients through its unique business approach, modeled after the Mayo Clinic. “We heard a lot about the Mayo Clinic, where the best specialists work as a team to diagnose better and create better treatment plans,” Savant CEO Brent Brodeski told Barron’s. “We decided to model that.”

The article further highlighted Savant’s ability to service many clients effectively due to their team approach and unusually large backstage staff. “Our approach lets our advisors spend time on relationships, rather than trading, marketing or dealing with technology,” Brodeski told Barron’s.

“It is an honor to be recognized by Barron’s as one of the top wealth management firms in the country,” said Thomas Muldowney, Chairman. “Our goal was to build a firm that would help our clients reach their financial goals and one that would remain strong for many years to come. We are proud to be accomplishing that.”

Throughout the last seven years Savant has increased its assets over $2 billion. In 2013, Savant acquired Paragon Advisors, a Naperville, IL based, registered investment advisory firm and now the company manages more than $4 billion in assets.

Since its inception in 2007, Savant has consistently earned this recognition from Barron’s. Savant ranked fourth among Illinois firms and 95th overall. Barron’s ranking, which includes both registered investment advisors and boutique brokerages, is based on assets, quality of practices, revenue that advisors generate for their firms and other factors.
