Savant CEO Receives Distinguished Alumni Award
Rock Valley College honors Brodeski at New Student Convocation

Rockford, IL (September 16, 2014) – Savant Capital Management CEO Brent Brodeski was honored by Rock Valley College with the 2014 Distinguished Alumni Award. Brodeski received the honor at the College’s first annual New Student Convocation ceremony held on August 27th.
Brodeski is a co-founder of Savant, which manages $4 billion in assets and employs more than 100 team members. Headquartered in Rockford, IL. Savant also has nine offices in the following cities: Chicago, IL, Freeport, IL; Geneva, IL; Hoffman Estates, IL; Naperville, IL; Peoria, IL; Sterling, IL; McLean, VA; and Madison, WI.
Brent Brodeski began his higher education studies at Rock Valley College before entering business school at Northern Illinois University.
As a philanthropist and active member of his community, Brent has continued his relationship with Rock Valley College by serving as an instructor in their Community Education program and as a member of the RVC Foundation Board of Directors.
“As a first-generation college student, my time at RVC was crucial to giving me a solid foundation for my higher education studies,” Brodeski said. “The first-class instructors, small class sizes, diverse student population and proximity to my parents’ home were all factors in preparing me for success. I value my education there immensely.”
Rock Valley College established the Distinguished Alumni award to recognize alumni who bring the highest distinction to themselves, their community, and serve as a role model for Rock Valley College students. Candidates exemplify the qualities of outstanding character and citizenship. Candidates' achievements were weighed by a selection committee, considering favorably those individuals who bring the greatest distinction to Rock Valley College.
