Rockford, IL (February 22, 2016) Savant Capital Management, a nationally-recognized fee-only wealth management firm headquartered in Rockford, has been helping build ideal futures for individuals, families and organizations for 30 years. This year, Savant celebrates its 30th anniversary of helping clients work toward achieving their financial goals.
Savant is proud to announce that it has been recognized as the Charles Schwab 2015 Best-in-Business IMPACT Award™ winner. As part of this recognition, Charles Schwab is providing a $15,000 contribution to nonprofit organizations chosen by Savant. Savant has decided to match the Schwab Charitable gift and create a $30,000 grant making fund at the Community Foundation of Northern Illinois. This grant fund will recognize 12 eligible non-profits with a $2,500 grant each month throughout 2016.
In February, Savant awarded a grant to the Rockford Symphony Orchestra (RSO) from the fund. RSO’s mission is to lead in the creations of vibrant music throughout the region. They are one of the leading cultural institutions in northern Illinois, performing over 16 classical and pops concerts annually.
“We are thrilled to support the Rockford Symphony Orchestra,” said Brent Brodeski, CEO of Savant. “For 30 years we have been successful because of the support we receive from our clients and from the communities we serve. It is our turn to give back to the Rockford Symphony Orchestra and other organizations that have been integral in building and sustaining the community’s diverse offerings.”
Last month, Savant kicked off its 30th anniversary celebration by recognizing the Discovery Center Museum with a $2,500 grant.
Throughout its history, Savant has supported its communities with hundreds of thousands of dollars in advertising and sponsorships, donations and long-term financial pledges to a variety of educational, cultural, and other non-profit organizations.
