May 10, 2016

Savant Capital Management, a nationally-recognized fee-only wealth management firm headquartered in Rockford, helps build ideal futures for individuals, families and organizations. This year, Savant celebrates its 30th anniversary of helping clients work toward achieving their financial goals.

Savant is proud to announce that it has been recognized as the Charles Schwab 2015 Best-in-Business IMPACT Award winner. As part of this recognition, Charles Schwab is providing a $15,000 contribution to nonprofit organizations chosen by Savant. Savant has matched the Schwab Charitable gift and created a $30,000 grant making fund at the Community Foundation of Northern Illinois. Each month throughout 2016, this grant fund will recognize an eligible nonprofit with a $2,500 grant.

In May, Midway Village Museum was awarded the Savant grant. Midway Village Museum is a nonprofit organization dedicated to collecting, preserving and interpreting the history of the Rockford region, is committed to educating and enriching our community by providing state-of-the-art exhibits, programs and events. It’s the primary institution where Rockford’s diverse citizens can understand the community’s history and discuss the challenges of the future.

“We are pleased to announce Midway Village Museum as our grant recipient for the month of May,” said Brent Brodeski, CEO of Savant. “It’s so important that our community has educational programs and resources that teach us about Rockford’s diversity and rich history. Midway Village ensures that our history is shared for generations to come.”

Earlier this year, Savant has also awarded $2,500 grants to the Discovery Center Museum, Rockford Symphony Orchestra, Rosecrance and RAMP.

Throughout its history, Savant has supported its communities with hundreds of thousands of dollars in advertising and sponsorships, donations and long-term financial pledges to a variety of educational, cultural, and other non-profit organizations.
