Savant Capital Management Names New Chief Financial Officer
Dan Rezin Brings More Than 26 Years of Experience to Nationally Recognized Wealth Management Firm

Rockford, IL (August 20,2012) - Savant Capital Management, a nationally recognized fee-only wealth management firm headquartered in Rockford, announced today that Daniel Rezin, formerly of Amphenol Corporation, has been appointed to Chief Financial Officer.
As a member of Savant's Executive Leadership Team, Rezin will be responsible for providing leadership, vision and accountability to the organization. With more than 26 years of experience in operations, management and finance, Rezin will oversee the compliance and financial departments and assist with mergers and acquisition activities. Recently, Savant combined with The Monitor Group, a nationally recognized financial planning firm in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. Savant is now one of the largest wealth management firms in the nation, managing more than $2.7 billion in assets with offices in Illinois, Wisconsin and Virginia.

Rezin most recently served as the General Manager at Amphenol Corporation, an S&P 500 Company, formerly known as Antel, where he orchestrated the sale of Antel to Amphenol Corporation with the goal of opening global manufacturing opportunities. Under Rezin's leadership, plants were opened in Brazil, India, and Mexico and plants were acquired in the UK, France and United States. Rezin was responsible for 600 employees in six countries and during his tenure, the team increased revenue greater than five times since the sale of Antel. Prior to joining Amphenol, he spent 11 years with the accounting firm McGladrey and Pullen where he was a partner and oversaw a practice focused on providing business and tax advice to closely held manufacturers and distributors.
Rezin has also received several awards throughout his career, including the McGladrey & Pullen Accountancy Award, Amphenol's Excellence in Customer Satisfaction Award, and Amphenol's Diamond Award for three consecutive years, for enhancing shareholder value through the achievement of industry leading growth and return on investment.

Rezin received his Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from Northern Illinois University. He was a past treasurer for Crime Stoppers in Rockford and the Rockford Air Show.
