Savant Promotes Financial Awareness Month
Money Smart Week Events Scheduled

Peoria, IL (April 9, 2012) - April is National Financial Awareness Month and Savant Capital Management, a nationally recognized fee-only wealth management firm, is gearing up for a series of free financial education seminars for the public. Savant is participating in its second year of Money Smart Week in Peoria - a seven day series of events dedicated to financial literacy.
Money Smart Week will take place from April 21 to 28 in Peoria and will focus on educating consumers about money management as well as generate awareness of financial educational programs on topics such as estate planning, basic bank services, credit & debt management, retirement planning, personal finance and budgeting and saving and planning for college.
"We understand that there is a lot for individuals to consider when making financial decisions that impact their future," said Daryl Dagit, Financial Advisor with Savant Capital Management. "It is our hope by spreading awareness of the importance of financial literacy and taking time to educate one's self, that individuals will find the task of saving and planning for their future less daunting."
Savant will host a series of classes during Money Smart Week. Topics covered include:

- Planning for Retirement and Financial Independence
- Optimizing Income in Retirement
- Estate Planning for Seniors
