John P. Sentovich
Business Development Financial Advisor
John is a business development financial advisor in Savant's Rockford, IL office and a member of the Advisory Team. He is responsible for educating prospective clients about Savant's investment and planning services and creating brand awareness in the markets served by Savant. He also provides philanthropic assistance to private and family foundations and works with religious entities and clients to implement socially responsible investing.
John has been involved in the foundation and gift planning industries since 1992, working extensively during his career with non-profit organizations. Prior to joining Savant, he was the director of gift planning at Northern Illinois University. He also served as the executive director of the Catholic Foundation for the People of the Diocese of Rockford.
John earned a bachelor of arts degree in international marketing from California State University-Fullerton and a master of arts degree in theology and Christian ministry from Franciscan University of Steubenville (Ohio).
John is the president of St. Vincent de Paul Society at Holy Family Parish, which provides direct assistance to those in need in our community. He also serves on the planned giving committee for Carpenter's Place, a resource center for the homeless. Past service includes board member for Carpenter's Place and chair of its planned giving committee, president of the Northern Illinois Planned Giving Council, and board member of the Suburban Chicago Planned Giving Council.
John met his wife Paula, a Rockford native, in Steubenville, and together they have raised four children.
John joined Team Savant in June 2017.
