Nicholas J. De Jong
MAS, CPA, CFP®
Nick is a financial advisor in Savant's Naperville, IL office and a member of the Advisory Team. He is a member of the Women's Wealth Initiative committee, an internal panel that helps guide corporate efforts to empower, inform, and inspire women about financial issues. He is also a member of the Information Security Committee, an internal panel that provides guidance and leadership in the protection of Savant's information, assets, and technology. Nick is responsible for managing all aspects of the financial planning and investment process for Savant's clients. He regularly meets with clients, other advisors, portfolio managers, and financial planners to formulate and coordinate effective planning, investment, and tax strategies.
Nick has been involved in the financial services industry since 2013. Prior to joining Savant, he was a senior associate at a CPA firm where he worked closely with clients on their tax strategies and investment needs. Upon joining Savant, he completed Savant's Accelerated Career Development Program, an in-depth advisor training program that allowed him to gain broad exposure to the foundational areas of Savant while acquiring valuable knowledge and experience.
Nick earned a bachelor of science degree in accountancy and a master of accounting science degree from Northern Illinois University. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and a Certified Public Accountant.
Nick is married to Lauren and serves as a deacon, trustee, and youth leader at his church. He enjoys volunteering, exploring the outdoors, tennis, golf, baking, and coffee roasting.
Nick joined Team Savant in July 2015.
